In addition, headers reveal to whom you are sending emails, how often are they answered, and what servers you are using. All this info lies in metadata. Quantum Generation™ Mail, even while sending normal emails, automatically filters out personal info in the metadata that is leaked by traditional email clients.

With Encrypt Fortress Mail the receiver can decrypt the encrypted email on almost any platform or email service, such as PC, Mac, Linux, Android, iPhone, iPad, Blackberry, and Windows Mobile phones. The receiver can also decrypt the encrypted email on all webmail like Gmail, Hotmail, Outlook OWA or any system with an internet connection and an internet browser.
No Additional Software
Send encrypted to anyone regardless their mail service, encryption, or even if they don't use encryption. It is easy to receive and read a Encrypt Fortress Mail encrypted email, whether you are part of the same organization, external customer, or partner. When both parties are on the Encrypt Fortress Mail platform encrypted messages never leave the server.
If the recipient uses S/MIME the Encrypt Fortress Mail will automatically do the key exchange and take care of the rest. If the receiver is on an outside system like Gmail and doesn't use S/MIME, then an encrypted PDF is sent with an easy to follow walkthrough email on generating the secure OTP (one-time password) to unlock the secure PDF, from which they can reply encrypted, directly from the encrypted PDF.
Encrypted Between Customers and Clients
With Encrypt Fortress Mail the receiver can open, read, and even reply encrypted to the encrypted email. Companies can establish an easy to use encrypted connection with customers and partners. The recipient will register generating their own password to open encrypted emails sent via encrypted PDF in the future. Ensuring only the intended recipient can access confidential information.
Secure S/MIME PKI (X.509, RFC 3280) and PDF AES 128 bit encryption complies with PCI/DSS, HIPAA, Hitech, GLBA, Sarbanes Oxley Act (SOX), FTC Red Flag Rules, and numerous others. You can set your own security policies that the system will automatically enforce for all users.
Encrypt Fortress Mail creates a secure end-to-end virtual channel between the sender and receiver. The first time a secured email is sent the receiver needs to authenticate by registering and creating a Encrypt Fortress Mail password to generate an OTP (one-time password).
Key management has historically been an issue with encryption solutions, with the difficulty of users knowing how to exchange keys and import/export to each email client used. Encrypt Fortress Mail is a fully automated solution. 4096 Bit RSA encryption certificates are automatically generated and synchronized between server and client, so there is no need for manual key management.
S/MIME provides message integrity, authentication, and non-repudiation (using X.509certificates) and protection against message interception. S/MIME employs public key encryption (PKI) for signing and encryption. Email which is encrypted and/or digitally signed by Quantum Generation™ Mail can be read in Outlook, Thunderbird and almost any other mail client, provided the user has the proper e-mail certificates installed. Certificates are automatically imported from incoming email, and you can send (sign) emails with one button, and the Quantum Generation™ Mail system will automatically start the S/MIME Encryption with those recipients.
Quantum Generation™ Mail makes S/MIME very easy to use, but PDF encryption offers a light-weight alternative. When you just need to exchange secure email once, or a few emails over a longer period, or need to force the recipient to receive encrypted email, PDF encryption in Quantum Generation™ Mail is a perfect solution. You can have Quantum Generation™ Mail convert outgoing email—including all attachments—to a password encrypted PDF document using AES-128. Encrypted with a 116 bit or more, all passwords are generated using a One Time Password (OTP) algorithm.
The password is then obtained by secure portal log-in. By using a separate channel for sending passwords, PDF encryption is almost as secure as full S/MIME encryption, and our OTP 116 bit or more passwords are strong enough to withstand a brute force attack. PDF encryption in Quantum Generation™ Mail is easy and intuitive. There is no need to specifically guide end-users.
Certificate Authorities (CA)
Quantum Generation™ Mail is its own certificate authority enabling complete protection, but is also compatible with any pre-existing CA server (like Microsoft CA or EJBCA). Compatibility extends to any pre-existing CA server with certificates from external noncommercial Certificate Authorities and commercial (CAs) like Comodo, Verisign, and CACert. Alternatively, Quantum Generation™ Mail CA server allows Quantum Generation™ Mail to create certificates for internal and external users. Certificates can be transported to external recipients in a password secured format. Installation of the certificate in the recipient's mail client is direct. This allows you create your own private PKI with external recipients.
